Overview
Taskade AI Agents are smart assistants that streamline routine activities like research, task management, and content creation. You can create a team of AI agents, each with a unique personality, skills, and knowledge, and access them on all your devices.

Create a Custom Agent
Go to the 🤖 Agents tab in your workspace/folder.
Tap the plus ➕ button in the top-right corner.
(optional) Choose the workspace where you want to create the agent.
Choose one of the available options:
(1) Name your agent ➡ tap Create to start from scratch.
(2) Choose a template ➡ tap Create.
(optional) Customize your agent (see the next section).
Customize Your Agent
Go to the 🤖 Agents tab in your workspace/folder.
Tap the three dots ··· next to the agent you want to edit.
Choose (2) Edit agent from the drop-down list.
Use the tabs at the top to edit your agent (see the sections below).
General: Basic configuration of the agent.
Knowledge: Knowledge & data used by the agent.
Commands: Custom commands associated with the agent.
Add/Edit Agent Commands
Each agent can include multiple custom/commands. Think of them as "levers" that allow you to interact with the agent, and the agent to interact with the world.
To create or edit existing commands:
Go to the 🤖 Agents tab in your workspace/folder.
Tap the three dots ··· next to the agent you want to edit.
Choose (2) Edit agent from the drop-down list.
Go to the Commands tab at the top.
Tap ➕ Add command to create a new command.
(1) 🔤 Name: This will pop up when you type / + "command name".
(2) ⏩ Prompt: Define the behavior of the custom command.
(3) 🚦 Comand Mode: Decide how the agent should approach tasks.
🟢 Default: Agent operates based on your prompt without setting goals.
🔵 Plan & Execute: Agent sets structured goals based on your prompt.
Tap Save (top-right corner) to add the prompt to your agent.
Set Agent Tone
You can change the tone of your AI agents to match how you like to communicate.
Go to the General tab of your AI agent (see Add/Edit Agent Commands).
Tap Tone and select one of the available tones.
Tap Save (top-right corner) to confirm the changes.
Add Agent Knowledge
You can use your files & documents or external resources to train your agents.

Go to the General tab of your AI agent (see Add/Edit Agent Commands).
Go to the Knowledge tab at the top.
Toggle the Enable knowledge slider on.
Choose one of the available options to add agent knowledge:
Upload File: Upload files & documents from your device.
Add from media: Choose from previously uploaded documents.
Add Link: Add knowledge from a URL.
Add YouTube: Choose a YouTube video (the agent will use a transcript).
💡 Note: Agent knowledge can combine many different sources.
Edit, Copy, or Delete an Agent
Tap the 🤖 Agents tile in your workspace/folder.
Tap the three dots ··· next to the agent you want to edit.
Tap 📋 Copy agent and select the destination.
Choose a Language for AI Responses
AI responds in the language of the prompt. Here's how to change the output language:
(method 1) Choose the target in the General tab (see Add/Edit Agent Commands).
(method 2): Specify the language in the prompt.
e.g. "Respond in Spanish: What's the weather like in Madrid?"
(method 3): Provide context in the target language.
e.g. "¿Cómo está el clima en Madrid?" will receive a response in Spanish.
Use AI Agents
There are two ways you can use your custom AI agents:
(method 1): Chat with the agent:
Tap the 🤖 Agents tile in your workspace/folder.
Select your custom AI agent.
Start a conversation and ask your agent questions.
(optional) Tap the three dots ··· next to an output:
Tap Copy to save the text to the clipboard.
Tap Create Project to turn the text into a new project.
(method 2): Use custom agent commands:
Open a project in the workspace/folder where you created the agent.
Select a task and tap the robot icon 🤖 in the main toolbar.
You can also type / + name of a command.
Choose a command from the pop-up menu.
