How It Works

This guide will show you how Taskade can simplify your content marketing work. Learn how to plan campaigns, organize and craft your content calendar, and improve team coordination.
Collaborative Writing and Editing
Taskade is a collaborative writing and outlining app at heart. It gives you the power to structure, write, and edit content with your team, in the same project, at the same time.
Open your workspace/folder.
Click β New Project (top-right corner) to create an empty document.
Open your new note and start typing!
Click the Share button in the top right-hand corner and select Invite to Project.
Copy the invite link and share it via email, text, or any other way
Alternatively, enter an email address.
You can also specify the level of access for users who join with the link.
Click Send Invite.
Choose a content node you want to comment on.
Click the β plus icon to open the Add-ons Menu.
Select π¬ Comments or press C.
Type your comment and click to send it.
Content Planning and Calendar
Taskade gives you the power to plan your content with unique project views and a global calendar you can integrate with external services like Apple and Google calendars.
Create a new project or use an existing one.
Click the 2nd icon in the top navigation bar to enable the Board view.
Click the icon again to set the view as default.
Go to your workspace or folder.
Click the π calendar icon from the navigation menu on the left.
Choose a date cell in the Calendar to add a task.
(optional) Choose a target workspace/folder/project.
π‘ Note: Only tasks with due dates will show up in the.
Add a due date to the project you want to add to the Roadmap.
You will find the πΊοΈ Roadmap tab in the workspace/folder view.
Invite your team to the workspace/folder to share the Roadmap.
Client & Team Communication
Taskade brings chats, comments, and video calls together in one platform. This unified approach means that every discussion, update, or review is easy to manage and track.
π‘ Note: Chats and calls in Taskade happen inside projects.
Open a project and click the chat balloon icon π¬ (bottom-right corner).
Use the buttons at the top to switch between the team chat π¬ / AI Chat π€.
Type your message and press β¨οΈ Enter.
Create a project or use an existing one.
Click Share (top-right) β‘ Invite to project.
Invite participants via βοΈ Email or copy a direct link under π Share Link.
(optional) Edit user roles.
Click the π receiver icon in the chat to start the call.
AI-Powered Content Generation
You can use Taskade AI to create your marketing content faster.
(method #1) Set up a custom AI agent:
Go to the Agents tab at the top of your workspace/folder.
Click β Create agent to open the agent creator.
(method #1) Start from scratch:
Create a unique name for your custom agent.
Select an avatar or upload your own.
(method #2) Use one of the available agent templates.
Click Create to save the new agent.
There are dozens of agent templates you can use. Here are our favorites:

(method #2) Use the AI assistant:
Select your text in the project editor.
Type "/" followed by one of the slash commands.
Press β¨οΈ Enter to activate the command.
Content Automation & Integrations
Taskade integrates with tools you use, like Gmail, WordPress, SurveyMonkey, Calendly, and many more. This makes your content marketing workflow more unified and connected. It also allows you to put parts of your work on autopilot.
Go to the Automations tab in your workspace or folder.
Click β Add automation
(optional) Use one of the available templates (scroll down to learn more).
Click β Add Trigger and choose a trigger from the drop-down list.
Specify the conditions for the trigger on the right.
Click Save changes in the top-right corner.
