Generating a Content Calendar

A custom AI agent can be a powerful tool for getting started with your Content Calendar. It can be given datasets as part of its knowledge base to analyse, giving it indepth knowledge about your product and company, providing fresh perspectives and ideas for blog posts and articles that may not have been considered before. With rapid brainstorming capabilities, the AI helps overcome creative blocks by generating multiple ideas based on specific themes or prompts.

Choose a Default Agent

You can get started immediately by just picking one of the default AI agents. They're already set up with all the basic instructions and commands you need.

1. Go to the AI Agents tab at the top of your workspace/folder.

2. Click the βž• Create agent to open the agent creator.

3. Use one of the available agent templates.

βž• Create a Custom Agent

If you can't find what you're looking for, let's create a custom agent and tailor it to your needs. You can define the agent's general behavior as well as individual commands.

    1. Go to the AI Agents tab at the top of your workspace/folder.
      ​

    2. Click βž• Create agent to open the agent creator.

    3. Click Create from scratch.
      ​

    4. Create a unique name for your custom agent.
      ​

    5. Select an avatar or upload your own.

    6. Fill in your desired instructions for the AI agent to follow when executing prompts and commands.
      ​

    7. Click Create to save the new agent.

    1. In the AI Agents tab, select the agent you created in the previous step.

    2. Click Edit agents in the top right corner.
      ​

    3. Choose the Commands tab on the left.
      ​

    4. Click βž• Add command and define the prompts:
      ​

      • Name: Pops up when you type / + "command name"
        ​

      • Prompt: Defines the behavior of the custom command.
        ​

      • Mode: Defines how the agent executes the command.
        ​

        • Default: The agent follows specific instructions from your prompt directly.
          ​

        • Plan and execute: The agent set goals, breaks tasks into steps, and iteratively reasons through them to handle complex tasks autonomously.
          ​

    5. Click Create to save the changes.


Content Planning and Calendar

Taskade gives you the power to plan your content with unique project views and a global calendar that you can integrate with external services like Google calendar. Let's get started by creating your content calendar from scratch.

  • Create a Content Calendar in the Table View:
    ​

    1. Click the 4th icon in the top navigation bar to enable the Table view.
      ​

    2. Click the icon again to set the view as default.

    3. Click on the Toggle Chat icon in the top right corner of the project.

    4. Click on the Drop down icon beside Ask Project in the chat window

    5. Select the AI Agent you want to use to create your calendar.

    6. Give it a prompt to have it generate possible contents for your calendar. For example: "Create a list of blog post titles for a content calendar related to plants and landscaping".

    7. Click Add to Project below the generated result to add them to your project.

  • Formatting the calendar:

    1. Remove any unnecessary text.

    2. Hide the columns of the table you don't need by clicking on the Hide icon below the project's title and select which columns aren't needed.

    3. Click on the Plus icon in the last column to add any Custom fields you require.

    4. Fill up the rest of the calendar with appropriate data.

  • View your calendar in other views
    ​

    1. Click the 3rd or 7th icon in the top navigation bar view your calendar in the Calendar or Gantt view.

    2. Open the Sidebar by clicking on the icon in the top left corner of the project.
      ​

    3. Click the πŸ—“ calendar icon from the navigation menu on the left.

    4. This calendar will show all tasks across all workspaces, folders and projects

    1. Click on the Toggle Chat icon in the top right corner of the project.​

    2. Select Team Chat.

    3. Type your message and press ⌨️ Enter.

  • Host a call:​
    ​

    1. (method #1) Click Share (top-right) ➑ Invite to project.
      ​

      1. Share the project via βœ‰οΈ Email or copy a direct link under πŸ”— Share Link to invite participants to the project.
        ​

    2. (method #2) Click on the Triple Dot Icon beside the πŸ“ž Receiver icon.

      1. Click on Copy Call Link and share the link directly with anyone.
        ​

    3. Click the πŸ“ž receiver icon in the chat to start the call.
