Overview
Fill in AI in the Table View allows you to automatically populate table columns. Translate, summarize, or extract information without extra manual steps.
Create a New Table
To use Fill with AI, you need a project in the Table view. Here's how to set it up.
Create a project in your workspace/team and select the Table view.
Fill in the project with list of tasks.
Create a custom String Field.
Create a custom Select Field.
💡 You may also use an existing project in the Table View. Just note that you will need a String Field or a Select Field to fully try out the Fill with AI features.
Fill with AI (String Fields)
Fill up a String Field column using AI.
Click the triple dot icon next to the field name, and select Fill with AI.
Select an AI Action. (see below for a full list)
Select and fill in the fields accordingly.
Give instructions for the relevant AI Actions.
Click Run.
AI Actions (String Fields)
Here are the different AI Actions available. Each instructs the AI to fill in the column accordingly. Refer to Prompt Preview under each action to see what the AI will do.
Translate

Summarize

Type the "@" symbol, or click the plus button to reference other columns. |
Fill with AI (Select Fields)
Fill up a Select Field column using AI.
Click the triple dot icon next to the field name, and select Fill with AI.
Select the Text to Analyze. This text will be analyzed to fill up the column accordingly.
Select the Options to Assign. The options available will match the options in the Select Field.
Provide additional instructions for the AI to process.
Click Run.
Use Cases
Here are some ways you can utilize Fill with AI, in your own projects.
Assigning Roles
You can utilize Fill with AI to automatically assign roles to each task.
Click the triple dot icon next to the field name, and select Fill with AI.
Select the Text to Analyze. Here, we will select Task.
Select the Options to Assign. Here, we will be keeping all the options.
You can provide additional instructions for the AI to process. Here, we will leave it empty, as the default prompt is sufficient.
Click Run.
Let the AI run. Once done, the column should be filled up accordingly.
Marketing Funnel
You can utilize Fill with AI to quickly identify where in the marketing funnel each task will fall under.
Click the triple dot icon next to the field name, and select Fill with AI.
Select the Text to Analyze. Here, we will select Task.
Select the Options to Assign. Here, we will be keeping all the options.
You can provide additional instructions for the AI to process. For example: "determine where in the marketing funnel each task belongs to".
Click Run.
Let the AI run. Once done, the column should be filled up accordingly.
