Folder Permissions let you decide who can see and edit projects inside a folder.

๐Ÿ’ป Set Permissions (Desktop)

Every time you create a new folder in a shared workspace, you can define the level of access for other workspace members. Here's how to do that:

  1. Create a new Folder inside a Workspace.
  2. Set the folder name and color theme.
  3. Use the dropdown list to define access level.

1.png Invite only Only the people you invite will be able to see and edit projects inside the folder.

2.png Everyone can edit

All members of the parent workspace will be able to edit projects inside the folder. This setting doesn't affect existing permissions.
3.png Everyone can check All members of the parent workspace will be able to check tasks in nested projects. This setting downgrades Editors to Checker role.
4.png Everyone can view All members of the parent workspace will be able to view projects inside the folder. This setting downgrades Editors to Viewer role.

 

โš™๏ธ Change Permissions (Desktop)

Follow the steps below to change permissions for existing folders:

  1. Open a Folder and click the arrow folder-dropdown.png next to your Folder name. 
  2. Click the Edit button edit-button.png and choose a settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. And that's it! ๐Ÿฅณ

  3. Under "Team Access," use the dropdown list to define access level.

  1. Open a Folder and tap the three dots button (ยทยทยท) in the top-right corner. 
  2. Tap the Edit button edit-button.png and choose a settings from the drop-down menu.
