In this guide, we'll show you how to use Taskade's Custom AI Agents in your job search journey. You'll learn what agents are and how they can help you:

What Are AI Agents?
AI Agents are smart tools that automate tasks such as research and content creation. They save you time by handling routine activities inside projects.

Now that you know the "what," it's time for the "how."
Add Your Experience
First, add your accomplishments and achievements into a Taskade project.
There are two ways to do that:
(method 1): Create a new project:
βOpen your workspace or folder.
βClick the β New project button (top-right corner).
βName your project, e.g. "Experience".
Copy your accomplishments from your resume into the project.
(method 2): Import your resume with AI:
βClick the β New project button in your workspace / folder (top-right corner).
βChoose Import and Summarize Documents with AI.
βDrag your resume document (.pdf, .docx, or .txt) into the pop-up menu.
βClick βCreate Project to paste the summary into a new project.
βName your project, e.g. "Experience".
With that out of the way, we can now move to the next step.
Create and Train an Agent
There are two ways to build AI agents in Taskade β you can start from scratch (advanced method), or choose from dozens of AI agent templates.
For the purpose of this guide, we're going to use the π Resume agent templatae.
Set up the agent:
βGo to the Agents tab in the workspace/folder.
βClick β Create agent.
You're now in the Agent Creator:
Choose the π Resume agent template from the list.
βCreate a unique name for your custom agent.
βSelect an avatar or upload your own.
βClick Create to save the new agent.
Each agent is pre-trained on generic data. We need to develop the knowledge base of our π Resume agent using the description of the job you're applying for.
Train the agent:
βGo to the Agents tab in your workspace.
βHover the mouse cursor over the π Resume agent.
βClick the βοΈ Edit agent button on the right.
Choose the Knowledge tab on the left.
β(method 1): Click the box under ADD SOURCES and select the file.
β(method 2): Drag & drop the file from your device.

Enable the Knowledge toggle in the top-right corner.
βClick Update to save changes.
Our π Resume agent is ready. Let's put it to work.
Use AI to Upgrade Your Resume
Open the "Experience" project we created earlier.
βIn the chat, choose the π Resume agent using the drop-down menu at the top.
Now, ask the agent what you should edit in your accomplishments based on the job description it was trained on. Here are the result we received.
Wait for the agent to generate personalized recommendations.
You can also ask the agent to rewrite some of your accomplishments to save time.
The interviewer may ask you a series of follow-up questions to conclude the interview. Ask the Agent to generate a series of questions based on the job description.
