Use the Web Clipper for Chrome and Firefox to save web content directly to Taskade.

Overview

The Web Clipper is a companion tool you can install with our Web Browser Extension. This powerful tool lets you quickly add text and bookmark links directly to your projects.

💡 Note: All browser extensions support Markdown syntax. Visit Markdown Support to learn about all the other ways you can use Markdown in Taskade.


Use the Web Clipper

There are two ways to capture content using the Web Clipper tools:

  • 🔡 Capture text

    1. Visit a web page and highlight a fragment of text.

    2. Right-click the selection and select Add to Taskade.

    3. Choose the target Workspace, Project, and Block (optional).

    4. Click Add to Taskade or use a ⌨️ + Enter shortcut.

  • 📑 Add as a bookmark

    1. Visit a web page and left-click the Taskade icon in the Chrome/Firefox toolbar.

    2. Choose the target Workspace, Project, and Block (optional).

    3. Click Add to Taskade or use a ⌨️ + Enter shortcut.

Browser Permissions

Due to the new features of the Taskade Web Clipper, we now request additional permissions for the Chrome and Firefox extensions. Taskade takes privacy seriously—the new permissions simply allow you to clip webpages from anywhere into Taskade.
