Learn how to create and manage projects in Taskade.

What Is a Project?

Taskade projects are small but mighty. A single Project can be like a page in a notebook or a highly organized collaboration hub where you’ll chat and collaborate with your team in real-time. It's your digital canvas you can fill with just about anything:

  • ✔️ To-dos

  • ✅ Checklists

  • 📑 Outlines

  • 🗂️ Documents

  • 🖼 Images & videos

  • 🧠 Mind maps

  • And more!


Create a New Project

  1. Open your workspace or folder.

  2. Click the ➕ New project button (top-right corner).

  3. Use the AI Generator (see below), pick a template or simply add your first task.

  4. Congratulations! You can now share your project with others! 🥳

💡 Note: If you can't find the right template, you can create your own!


Use the AI Generator

The Workflow Generator is a powerful tool that uses GPT-4 to simplify the project-creation process. Here's how it works:

  1. Click the ➕ New project button (top-right corner).

  2. Choose the 🤖 AI Generator from the list.

  3. Describe your project in the generator field, or

  4. Choose one of the available prompts and customize it.

  5. Click ➕ Create Project to use the generated workflow.

Change Project Favicon

A favicon is the icon visible in a browser tab or webpage bookmark. You can set custom favicons for each of your projects by changing a project icon.

  1. Open a project and click the project icon at the top.

  2. Choose one of the available emojis.

  3. And that's it! 🥳
