What Is Project Chat?
Every project in Taskade is a self-contained collaboration space with an integrated chat. Team members can instantly start new chats or join ongoing discussions.
💡 Note: Visit Chat and Messaging for a desktop version of this feature.
Start a Team Chat
Open a project and tap the chat icon in the top-right corner.
Tap on the Chat tab above.
Type your message and tap the arrow button to send it.
Chat with Taskade AI
Open a project and tap the chat icon in the top-right corner.
Tap on the Ask Project tab above.
Ask AI questions about the project or prompt it to generate content.

Use Markdown in Chat
You can use Markdown syntax to communicate with your team in the chat box. Add the following Markdown syntax to your text to apply Markdown to your messages
Block quote — > text
Code block — ```code```
Ordered list — 1. Item
Unordered list — +, *, -
