Use slash commands to perform actions in the editor using just your keyboard.

Use Slash Commands

  1. Type "/" anywhere in the Project to bring up a handy menu that lets you access Taskade's add-ons and formatting shortcuts in one place

  2. Type further or scroll the list to find the command you're looking for

  3. For example typing "/comment" will bring up a comment pop-up

  4. Hit Enter to use the selected feature

Supported Commands

  • 🤖 Taskade AI

    • Ask: Answer your question based on AI's existing knowledge.

    • Expand: Expand and enrich your content to be more descriptive.

    • Rewrite: Improve the legibility and clarity of your writing.

    • Summarize: Turn long content into a quick summary.

  • 🗓️ Due Date (Today, Tomorrow, Next Week)

  • 👤 Assign

  • 💬 Comment

  • 🔗 Embed

  • ☁️ Upload (Computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, Instagram, Box)

  • ⚡ Quick format to:

    • Check 1

    • Check 2

    • Check 3

    • Bullet 1

    • Bullet 2

    • Bullet 3

    • Number

    • Letter

    • Paragraph

  • 🎨 Highlight

  • 🧱 Add Blocks (Top level Task only)

  • ⏩ Duplicate Task

  • ➕ Add Task (above or below)

  • 🔗 Copy link to a task

  • ✅ Complete

  • ❌ Delete

  • 😄 Basic Reactions

    • 👍 Like

    • 👎 Dislike

    • 😃 Laugh

    • 🎉 Party

    • ❤️ Heart

    • 🚀 Rocket

  • ⏰ Set Timer (15, 25, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours)

  • Sort By (Sorts all sub tasks)

    • Completed

    • Uncompleted

    • A to Z

    • Z to A

    • Tag

    • Mention

    • Due date
