Use the multi-select toolbar to perform bulk actions on multiple tasks at once.

What Is Multi-Select?

Multi-select is a powerful feature that lets you select and simultaneously format multiple tasks within a Project. The all-new Multi-Select Toolbar supports due dates, bulk task assign, highlighting, and more.

Bulk Format

Quickly apply different different formats to multiple items:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 1st button from the left to format the selected tasks/nodes.

Bulk Duplicate

Duplicate multiple tasks and/or sections of your projects:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 2nd button from the left to duplicate.

💡 Note: You can also use the ⌨️ ⌘/Ctrl + D keyboard shortcut.

Bulk Indent / Unindent

Build a nested hierarchy inside projects:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 3rd/4th button from the left to unindent/indent tasks.

Bulk Complete

Finished a batch of tasks? Mark them as completed in one click:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 5th button from the left to complete multiple tasks.

Bulk Due Dates

Schedule items to keep an eye on deadlines:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 6th button from the left to format the selected tasks/nodes.

Bulk Assign

Assign tasks to yourself or your team members:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.

  3. Click the 5th button from the right to assign multiple items.

Bulk Text Highlight

Make important tasks visible:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 4th button from the right to format to highlight multiple items.

Bulk AI Assistant

Apply built-in AI Assistant commands to multiple items:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 2nd button from the right to use AI commands.

Bulk AI Agent Commands

Apply custom AI commands to multiple items:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 1st button from the left to use custom agent commands.

Bulk Move/Copy Tasks

Quickly select multiple tasks, notes, or nodes and move them within the same project:

  1. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor ↕️ to select tasks/nodes.
    ​

  2. The Multi-Select Toolbar will appear at the bottom of the page.
    ​

  3. Click the 3rd button from the right to bulk-move tasks.
    ​

  4. Choose the block where you want to move the tasks.
