Create, Edit, & Manage Due Dates

πŸ—“οΈ Add Due Dates to Tasks

  1. Select the task you want to schedule.

  2. Click the βž• button next to a task to open the Add-ons Menu.

    • You can also use the ⌨️ Ctrl/Cmd + / shortcut.

  3. Choose a start/end date and time.

    • To select a single date, click on the date once.

    • To select a range, click the "Start date" field and select an earlier date.

  4. (optional) Enter due time; if no time is set, the reminder will default to midnight.

  5. If you have notifications enabled, you will receive an alert when a task is due!

πŸ’‘ Note: Tasks with due dates will show up in the Calendar.

βš™οΈ Edit a Due Date

To change a due date, simply click the date box below a task and:

  1. Choose a new day to edit the End date field.

  2. Click the Start date field and choose a new day to edit the start date.

  3. Click Save to confirm.

❌ Remove a Due Date

To delete a due date, click the date box below a task and select πŸ—‘ Remove.

πŸ—‚οΈ Add Due Dates to Projects

Add a date or date range to your projects and keep track of schedules/deadlines. The project date range will show up on the Calendar. Here's how to do that:

  1. Navigate to a Workspace, Folder, or Project.

  2. Click πŸ—“οΈ Due Date below a Project title.

    • To select a single date, click on the date once.

    • To select a range click on the desired start date.

  3. Option: Pick a time zone for your project.

  4. Click Set to save changes.

⌨️ Add Due Dates with Natural Language (NLP)

Natural Language Processing (NLP) lets you quickly add dates to tasks without taking your hands off the keyboard. Follow the steps below to use NLP in a project:

  1. Add a task/sub-task to a project.

  2. Press / to open a Slash Command Menu.

  3. Type a due date and time using available expressions from the table.

  4. And that's it! πŸ₯³
