πŸ€” What Are Project Views?

We love lists, but did you know that Taskade stores your tasks and notes in a tree-structured database? This gives you the flexibility to view your Projects in many different ways and work the way you feel the most productive!

Taskade features six Project views (more details below):

  • 🟑 List/Outline
  • 🟣 (Kanban) Board
  • 🟒 Calendar
  • πŸ”΅ Action View
  • 🟀 Mind Map
  • 🟠 Org Chart

πŸ‘† Select a Project View

Click the icons in the top navigation bar to toggle between views.

Set a default view for your Project by selecting the current view again. The next time you or another team member visits the Project, it will open in the default view.

🟑 List View

The List view lets you work from top to bottom, just like you would with a regular to-do list. This is the most universal and powerful view in Taskade. Use it to manage tasks, write specs and document outlines, or create reusable checklists.

🟣 Board View

This view lets you work horizontally like you would with a Kanban board. You can use the Board view to create all kinds of visual workflowsβ€”plan and manage projects, create editorial calendars, or build product feature trackers.

🟒 Action View

This Action view displays tasks in a table format. Use this view to increase visibility across your entire team or manage tasks in a structured manner. Set due dates, assign tasks, add comments, upload files, or set a countdown timer, all in one place.

πŸ”΅ Mind Map View

The Mind Map view is a left-to-right horizontal workflow. Start by placing a key elementβ€”an idea, problem, or conceptβ€”on the left and branch out to the right. You can mind map on your own or invite others to the Projects to collaborate in real-time.

🟀 Org Chart View

The Org Chart view is a perfect workflow for mapping out organizational structures. Use this view like a mind map to break complex projects into bite-sized tasks. You can also represent the organizational structure of your team or company.

🟠 Calendar View

The Calendar view lets you view all tasks with due dates on a calendar arranged by Month, Week, or Day. You can create new tasks, edit task names, assign task owners, set date ranges, and drag & drop tasks between days.
