Organize tasks using various sorting options.

What Is Task Sorting?

Taskade supports multiple task sorting options that allow you to quickly reorganize lists inside projects. Task sorting settings include:

  • βœ”οΈ Completed
    ​

  • πŸ”² Uncompleted
    ​

  • ⬇ A to Z
    ​

  • ⬆ Z to A
    ​

  • # Tag
    ​

  • @ Mention
    ​

  • πŸ—“ Due Date

πŸ’‘ Note: Sorting options marked with ⚑ are available for upgraded workspaces.


Method #1: Task Level

Follow these steps to sort sub-tasks under a parent task:

  1. Navigate to a main task or heading.
    ​

  2. Click Β·Β·Β· to the right of your task.


  3. Select ↑↓ Sort By and use one of the settings.

πŸ’‘ Note: You can apply sorting options to sub-tasks on any hierarchy level, as long as they have their own sub-tasks (child nodes).

Method #2: Project Level

Follow these steps to sort all tasks in a project:

  1. Click Β·Β·Β· to the right of the project title.
    ​

  2. Select ↑↓ Sort By and use one of the settings.

Set Task Priority

Here's how you can use #hashtags to quickly sort your tasks inside projects:

  1. Add priority #hashtags (e.g. #high or #medium to your tasks.
    ​

  2. Filter tasks using the custom #hashtags.
    ​

  3. (optional) Create a list of all your tags at the top of the project.
    ​

  4. Click on any of the #hashtags to filter the project.
