You start a project on Taskade by creating tasks, which are equivalent to bullet points in the traditional sense. Use hierarchies to break down larger tasks into smaller steps to stay organized and get things done!
Format Projects
Checklists, headings, outlines, numbered lists, you can do it all.
Indentation
Press the Indent Right button in the toolbar to indent a task on Taskade's mobile app.
Sub-tasks are the children of a parent task. Each sub-task is also a task, so each sub-task can have sub-tasks, etc, infinitely.
Press the Indent Left button in the toolbar to outdent a task.
Fold / Unfold
This is where the magic begins. Unlike your word processor, which only knows about pages and paragraphs, the outliner knows which tasks are the subtasks of other tasks.
Fold (collapse) a task by tapping the down arrow V to hide its subtasks.
Unfold (expand) is the reverse operation of fold. If you want to quickly reference something in another section, you can expand it.
Attach Files, Add Due Dates, and More
For each task, you can attach files, add comments, set due dates, and much more.
Style and Highlight
Easily highlight and style your text by simply selecting the text.
Hyperlinking
To hyperlink your text to a webpage, simply copy the website, then paste the link into the text you want to hyperlink.
Add Blocks
To add a new block of tasks, press Add Block and select from four options: Check, Bullet, Number, and Paragraph.
Add Date to Projects
Add a date or date range to your projects and keep track of schedules/deadlines. The date range also shows up on your calendar, allowing you to stay on top of everything going on!
