πŸ€” How It Works

Want to show your projects to the world? Now you can! Taskade lets you publish your outlines, mind maps, or boards online for free. You can share a public link, viewer link or embed your Taskade project on your website or blog. Here's how to do that.

πŸ‘€ Share a Public Link

Use a Public link when you want to share the project with users without access to comments and chat. Only the people with the link will be able to access the project. You can also put a Password on this link to protect it further.

  1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of a Project
  2. Select Invite to project and select the Public tab
  3. Enable the Share to web toggle
  4. Click Copy link and share it with other people

πŸ‘€ Share a "Viewer" Link

Use a "Viewer" link when you want to share the project with users with limited access. Only the people with the link will be able to access the project. This method limits the editing permissions to comments and chat.

  1. Click the "Share" button in the top-right corner of a Project
  2. Select "Invite to project" and select the πŸ€“ Viewer permission
  3. Click Copy link and share it with other people

βž• Embed Your Project

The second method to publish your project to the web is to embed it into your website, e.g. by using the WordPress editor. People will see the contents of your project but they won't be able to edit it.

Here's how to embed your Project in WordPress:

  1. Open a Project and click the "Share" button in the top-right corner
  2. Select the < > Embed tab and click "Copy"
  3. Paste the embed code into a Custom HTML block in WordPress

🀫 Turn Off Comments and Chat

Guest users with a "Viewer" link will still be able to add comments and send messages in the chat box. Here's how to turn off chat and comments in a published project.

  1. Click the Screenshot_2022-05-23_at_16.47.23.png icon in the top right-hand corner of your Project
  2. Go to the βš™οΈSettings tab and use the sliders to edit chat/comments setting
